Years at Adams: Five years as Principal, five years as Assistant Principal and one year as an intern.

Educational background: Bachelor of Science in Finance (University of Illinois); Master of Education (University of Washington); Principal Certificate (Western Washington University)

Past careers/lives before Adams: I have worked for two other school districts (Everett and Highline) as a special education teacher. Before that, I was a CPA/Accountant. I worked for Seattle Housing Authority for quite a while as an accounting manager.

My name is Darlene and I’m your part time school nurse. I enjoy helping to make sure you are healthy and ready to learn. I enjoy staying active with my two teenagers who are in 8th and 11th grade. My hobbies include gardening, running and ancestral research. Education: MBA Western Governors University, BSN & BA University of Washington / ADN Highline Community College
