    Dear Adams Elementary School Families,

Welcome back from Spring Break! We had a great start to the week and feel that we are now well set up with the systems and processes for the remainder of the year, and now we are just focusing on learning and enjoying being back in the building. If we hear anything about what next year might look like, we’ll be sure to pass it on.

We are still a distribution spot for free meals for families with students who attend any Seattle Public School, so please visit the distribution spot near the main entrance between 10:45 and 1:30 any day, including Wednesdays. If your student qualifies for free or reduced lunch, they have two options for picking up their breakfast and lunch. One is to walk up to the distribution spot near the main entrance between 10:45 and 11:45 (after the first session ends or before the 2nd session begins). The other option is to come to the lunchroom and pick up the meals from a cooler whenever they can, starting at 9:00 AM. The logical times for this are after the first session ends, before the second session begins, or after the second session ends at 2:30.

Our specialists continue to provide enriching and high-quality instruction in their content areas remotely this spring. Each of your students has library, art, P.E. and music, with two synchronous classes weekly. If you are unsure of your student's specialist schedule, please ask your student's classroom teacher. We want to encourage your students to attend and to be engaged as these classes are an important part of their learning at Adams.

    In Partnership,

    Doug, Kelly and Tom
